Renaud Marx is a French actor primarily known for his extensive work in dubbing, lending his voice to numerous Hollywood stars and animated characters for the French-language versions of films and television series. He was born on August 20, 1959. Coming from a family of performers, he is the son of actress Denise Bosc and comedian and composer Robert Marcy. Before focusing on dubbing, Marx built a career in French television, most notably for his long-running role as Inspector then Lieutenant David Kaplan in the popular TF1 series Julie Lescaut, a part he played from 1995 to 2005. He also appeared in other series such as Brigade Navarro and Joséphine, ange gardien. In addition to his screen and voice work, Marx is a singer and has performed in stage productions, including the musical Les Misérables.
