Gary Dehan

Gary Dehan is a British voice actor known for his work in English dubs of anime and animated features during the 1990s and early 2000s, and he is also recognized for his role as the CEO of the animation software company Vyond. He is sometimes credited under the name Gary Lipowitz.

Dehan's most publicly recognized voice role is that of Metal Sonic in the 1999 English adaptation of the anime OVA, Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie. In this feature, he provided the voice for the character Hyper Metal Sonic, the primary antagonist.

His career as a voice actor primarily consisted of roles in numerous English adaptations of Japanese anime OVAs and films produced in the 1990s. His filmography includes a wide range of supporting and background characters. Notable credits include Washio in Variable Geo, a Communications Officer in Queen Emeraldas, various characters in the City Hunter animated films such as Professor Muto in City Hunter: The Motion Picture, and Thug 3 in Tekken: The Motion Picture. He also lent his voice to productions like Sakura Wars, Ninja Resurrection, and Legend of Crystania.

In addition to acting, Dehan contributed to the production of several anime titles. He served as the dubbing director for the English version of Sakura Wars and took on roles as both ADR director and ADR script writer, as well as producer, for the OVA Black Lion: Fear the Black Lion.
