Jason Harris, born Jason Harris Katz on July 25, 1969, in Manhattan, New York, is an American voice actor and former television host. He attended Stuyvesant High School and was a pre-medical student at The Johns Hopkins University before deciding to pursue a career in acting.
His career began in the mid-1990s, with an early voice role in the English dub of the anime series Iria: Zeiram the Animation in 1993. In 1996, he provided the English voice for the character Ryouichi Kodou in the anime video My My Mai. During this period, he also found work as a television host, notably hosting the Nickelodeon game show Double Dare 2000 and the network's Big Help on the Road program in the late 1990s.
Throughout his career, Harris has built an extensive portfolio of voice work across animation, film, and video games. His notable anime and animated voice roles include Chad Dickson in Codename: Kids Next Door, various characters in the English dub of The Cat Returns, the Ring Announcer in The Legend of Korra, and the voice of Top Cat in the English dubs of the Mexican animated films Top Cat: The Movie and Top Cat Begins. He has also contributed additional voices to major animated features such as Chicken Little, The Wild, Ice Age: Continental Drift, and Rio 2. His work in video games includes voicing characters in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Destroy All Humans! 2, and Turok.
In addition to his on-screen and voice work, Harris has a significant career in post-production and casting. In 2013, he founded The Looping Division, a company that specializes in casting and coordinating automated dialogue replacement for film and television. He has served as an ADR loop director and voice casting director on numerous projects, including Non-Stop and Only Lovers Left Alive. He has been married to actress Peter Pamela Rose since 2003.
