L. Harvey Gold is an American actor and voice actor born in Chicago in 1946. His career in the entertainment industry began in the early 1970s and has spanned several decades, encompassing both live-action television and film, as well as extensive voice work for animated series.

Gold's on-screen career includes guest appearances in a wide range of popular television series. He has had roles in acclaimed science fiction and fantasy shows such as The X-Files, Stargate SG-1, Dark Angel, The Outer Limits, Highlander, and Supernatural. His film credits include parts in major motion pictures like Watchmen and White Noise.

In addition to his live-action work, Gold built a substantial career as a voice actor, contributing to numerous animated series and English dubs of Japanese anime during the 1990s and 2000s. He was frequently part of the voice cast for productions at Ocean Productions, a prominent Vancouver-based voice-over studio. His voice acting roles demonstrate a recurring collaboration with other notable voice actors from that era, including Paul Dobson, Michael Donovan, and Janyse Jaud.

One of his notable roles in anime is Colonel Matoi Shinkai in the 1993-1994 original video animation series Kishin Corps, based on the light novels by Masaki Yamada. His other credits in English-dubbed anime include the role of Yoshizane Satomi in The Legend of the Dog Warriors: The Hakkenden and Terra in the series Cybersix.
