Mizuumi Amakawa is a Japanese light novel author best known for creating the series Fushi no Kami: Rebuilding Civilization Starts with a Village. Amakawa is a pen name; the author is a native of Aomori Prefecture, Japan, and resides in the city of Hirosaki.
Amakawa began their writing career on the user-generated content website Shosetsuka ni Narou, starting activity in December 2018. In January 2019, they began publishing the web novel Fushi no Kami on the same platform. The series was subsequently acquired for print publication by the Overlap Novels imprint.
