Seena Hoshiki

Description
Seena Hoshiki is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Fukuoka Prefecture, born on October 11. She is affiliated with the talent agency Sony Music Artists. Her path to the entertainment industry began during her first year of high school when she accompanied a friend to a singing audition and ended up passing it herself, leading to her joining Sony Music Artists. She originally aspired to become a preschool teacher before this opportunity arose.

Hoshiki's career is closely linked with idol activities and music. In 2017, she joined the idol group AOP Zero as a candidate and was promoted to its main sister group, AŌP, in March 2018. She remained a member of AŌP, where her image color was blue, until the group disbanded in March 2021.

Her most prominent and defining voice role is Riamu Yumemi in the massively popular THE IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls franchise. She was cast as the character in 2019, a role that spans multiple media, including the mobile game THE IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, its rhythm game spinoff THE IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage, and the web anime THE IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Theater: Extra Stage. The character of Riamu Yumemi, a self-described otaku with a complex personality, resonated strongly with fans, making it a cornerstone of Hoshiki's career. She has also performed several character songs for Riamu, including "Otahen Anthem" from the CINDERELLA MASTER series.

Beyond her signature role, Hoshiki has contributed to various other game and anime projects. In video games, her notable roles include Ririka Jingū in BATON=RELAY, Fūka in Vivid Army, and Salvia in Brown Dust. She also voiced Yata Yamashiro in the mixed-media project Onsen Musume. More recently, her work has expanded to include roles in television anime. She is cast as Yamada in the upcoming 2026 anime adaptation of Smoking behind the Supermarket with You and as Nechika-sama in the 2026 anime NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE. She also had a minor role in the 2022 anime series Bocchi the Rock! as a cultural festival executive committee member.

Hoshiki's career has also included stage performances. She appeared in several stage productions, including the Bakusou Adult Elementary School series in 2018 and 2019, and Feather stage's "THE END OF Commuter Express Daibakuha" in 2021.

Her professional journey has been punctuated by health-related hiatuses. In October 2019, she took a brief break for surgery to remove vocal cord nodules, returning the following month. In September 2022, she announced a more extended hiatus from work after being diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. Following successful treatment and hospitalization, she returned to voice acting activities in May 2023.
