Wataru Usami is a Japanese male voice actor, born on January 2nd in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. He is 177 cm tall and has an AB blood type. He is currently affiliated with the talent management firm Wonder Space, having previously been represented by Office Mori under the stylized name Usami Wataru.

Usami is known for his warm mid-to-low range voice, which lends itself well to playing earnest young men or comedic characters. His career began in 2004 with minor roles in television anime such as Grenadier, Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase, and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. Since then, he has built a prolific career as a supporting actor, providing voices for a wide array of characters across television anime, web anime, video games, drama CDs, and digital comics.

He has amassed a long list of credits in anime television series. Some of his notable appearances include roles in OZMAFIA!!, The Morose Mononokean, and Bloodivores. In 2017, he took on the role of Recipe Narration in the series Love is Like a Cocktail. He appeared in Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki from 2019 to 2021, and had roles in Armored Trooper G's Frame, Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World, and The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy. In 2022, he voiced the Eraser Program in the anime Love Flops. More recent credits include roles in Spice and Wolf: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF and BanG Dream! Ave Mujica.

Beyond traditional animation, Usami's work extends to video games, including the popular Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku. He has also contributed his voice to numerous other formats. His narration skills have been featured in documentaries for the History Channel and in television commercials for major brands like Shiseido and Asahi Beer. His hobbies outside of voice acting include planter gardening, playing baseball, and photography.
