She began her career in the voice acting industry in 2003 under a different stage name before changing her name to Akashi Yuki, written as 赤司弓妃, in February 2013. Her body of work is primarily in anime and game titles aimed at adult audiences, and she is also known by several other stage names, including Yuki Satou and Nozomi Yoneshima.
