Lorenzo Tarantelli

Description
Lorenzo Tarantelli is a Brazilian actor, singer, and voice actor known for his work in dubbing for film and television, as well as his performances in musical theater. He began his career in the performing arts at a young age, with his first major role being Gavroche in a São Paulo production of the musical Les Misérables in 2017. This was followed by a part in the musical adaptation of School of Rock, which he has cited as a particularly significant experience due to its combination of acting, singing, and dancing.

In voice acting, Tarantelli has built a career dubbing leading roles for Portuguese-language versions of major international productions. He is the official Brazilian voice for several prominent young characters, including Sheldon Cooper in the series Young Sheldon and the protagonist Percy Jackson, played by Walker Scobell, in the Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. His film work includes voicing characters in Disney films such as the live-action adaptations of Aladdin, Pantera Negra, and Raya and the Last Dragon. He also voiced the young Mufasa in the Brazilian dub of the 2024 film Mufasa: The Lion King.

Tarantelli has also worked on original Brazilian animation. He voiced the character Claé in the 2022 animated film Perlimps, directed by Alê Abreu. For this project, the voice recording was done before the animation was completed, meaning his vocal performance directly influenced the character's physical expressions and movements. His work in anime includes voicing the character Ikkyū in the Brazilian Portuguese dub of the series Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan.
