Guy Perryman is a British voice actor, radio personality, and narrator based in Japan. He was born Guy Richard Perryman on February 2, 1965, in Scotland. Before relocating to Japan, he worked as a radio DJ and copywriter in Sydney, Australia, from 1983 to 1990. In 1990, he moved to Tokyo to serve as the chief DJ for the launch of Virgin Megastores in Japan.
While he is widely known for his extensive career in Japanese radio, particularly as the host of The Guy Perryman Show on InterFM since 2017, he has also built a body of work as a voice actor in anime, video games, and other media. His voice acting credits include the role of George in the 2016 web anime series Fastening Days, produced by YKK. He also voiced the character Ricardo Valeira, also known as Ricardo Barreira, in the long-running television anime Detective Conan. In the web series Ultra Galaxy Fight: New Generation Heroes from 2019, he provided the voice for the character Dark Lugiel.
Perryman's voice work extends significantly into the realm of video games, often for English-language versions of major Japanese titles. He has had recurring collaborations with game companies such as Sega and Konami.
