Yukita's most prominent and recurring role is Asimov, the leader of the Adept freedom-fighting group QUILL, a character he has voiced across multiple installments of the franchise. He first portrayed the character in the original Azure Striker Gunvolt video game. He reprised this role for the 2017 original video anime, Azure Striker Gunvolt: The Anime, which featured the original game's Japanese cast. His work as the character also extended to later games in the series, including Gunvolt Chronicle: Luminous Avenger iX, where he voiced both Asimov and a related character named Demerzel.

Beyond his voice acting work, Masashi Yukita is also actively involved in music and production. He is a member of the vocal unit bud×dies!, formed with fellow voice actor Ousuke. The unit's music is based on their monthly program, Yuki x Suke!. Their song go buddy! was composed by Ippo Yamada, known for his work on the Mega Man Zero series, further connecting Yukita to the wider circle of game music composers.

In addition to performing, Yukita also works as a producer and composer. He produces his own projects, including drama CDs, and engages in composition activities under the compiler name G.I. HOLOGRAM.
