Hideki Makino is a Japanese voice actor born on January 27 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency TAB Productions before later becoming a freelance voice actor. In addition to his voice work, he founded and directs his own theater company, Gekidan Galassia, and is involved in stage productions as both an actor and director.

Makino's career spans work in video games, drama CDs, OVA animations, and commercial narration. One of his notable roles is Romeo in the OVA adaptation of the video game Azure Striker Gunvolt, as well as in subsequent entries such as Azure Striker Gunvolt 3. His performance as the character Romeo gained unexpected popularity, which developers attributed to his voice acting and the character's illustrations. Makino has also appeared as Romeo at live concert events related to the Azure Striker Gunvolt series.
