Yuki Shiwasu

Description
Yuki Shiwasu is a Japanese manga artist known for creating series published in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine. Born on March 7 in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, she began her career after winning the top prize in the Hakusensha Athena Newcomers' Awards. Her professional debut followed this recognition, with early works including the series Furou Kyoudai (Immortal Siblings).

Shiwasu is the creator of several manga series, most notably Takane & Hana, which was serialized in Hana to Yume and published in North America by VIZ Media. Her other works include Furou Kyoudai, Kaizokuhime, Sokkuri Mate, Unknown no Madōsho, Tamachen!!, Wan Tail, Gutara Ouji, and Shinigami to Fukou Shounen. She is credited as the creator of Tamon's B-Side, a series that began publication in 2021 with its first volume released in Japan on February 18, 2022. The series follows high schooler Utage Kinoshita, a part-time housekeeper and devoted fan of idol Tamon Fukuhara, who discovers that her favorite singer's private personality contrasts sharply with his confident stage persona.

Her artistic identity is characterized by a clean and modern drawing style suited for romantic comedy narratives, with a particular strength in comedic scenes and deformed character illustrations. Her works frequently explore relationships defined by contrasting personalities, such as the unlikely pairing in Takane & Hana and the public-versus-private duality central to Tamon's B-Side. Within the industry, she is recognized as a significant contributor to the shoujo genre through her long-running serializations in Hana to Yume and the international distribution of her works.
