Taropun

Description
Taropun is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator whose professional career began in 2009. Debuting in the May issue of the manga magazine Comic Aun, published by Hit Publishing, with the work Katekyo no Sensei, Taropun primarily creates male-oriented adult manga but has also contributed to general-interest publications and provided illustrations for light novels. Born in Tokyo and residing in Saitama, Taropun works in a full digital environment for manuscript production.

Taropun’s published manga volumes are predominantly released through Hit Publishing’s Seraphin Comics imprint. The debut collection Mousou Beam was released in March 2010, followed by Waisetsu Missile in March 2011 and Yokujou Bazooka in August 2012. These works have served as the source material for several original video animations. The adaptation of Waisetsu Missile The Animation was produced by Pink Pineapple and released in August 2013. That same year, Yokujou Bazooka The Animation was also adapted by Pink Pineapple, while the two-part OVA Zecchou Rocket was produced by Queen Bee, with its first episode released in October 2013 and the second in December 2013.

In addition to original manga, Taropun has worked as an illustrator for the Ichijinsha Bunko imprint. These projects include the light novel series Kūdere na Kanojo to Kiss ga Shitai by author Yoshifumi Mizukuchi, as well as illustrations for Neko wa Kanjo ni Iremasen, Mochiron Ie ni mo Agemasen and the two-volume series Senretsu no Kamino Te. Taropun’s artistic identity is characterized by a distinctive style of facial rendering and expressive techniques, with a body of work that frequently incorporates comedic elements alongside more serious and romantic narratives. The creator maintains a professional presence across multiple publishing houses, including Hit Publishing, Nihon Bungeisha, and Square Enix.
