Kintalo.

Description
Kintalo is the stage name of Shiho Tanaka, a Japanese entertainer who works as a comedian, impressionist, and voice actor. Born on October 24, 1981, in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture, she began her career in the entertainment industry as a stand-up comedian, later gaining recognition for her skills as an impressionist. Her work as a voice actor is closely tied to her background in comedy and vocal performance.

Kintalo's most prominent voice acting role to date is the title character in the 2014 NHK children's anime series Nandaka Velonica. In this series of ten short episodes, she provided the voice for Velonica, a high-handed and ultra-selfish little alien girl who comes to Earth and experiences a conflict between a potential romance with a human boy and her dedication to the arts. For this role, she was paired with fellow comedian Kohei Kawaguchi, who voiced the boy. Her casting, alongside another comedian, highlights how her professional skills in vocal mimicry and performance were directly applicable to animated voice work.

In 2016, Kintalo took on another voice role in the anime Colorful Ninja Iromaki, where she voiced the character Murasakimaki.

Kintalo's career demonstrates a crossover between live-action comedic performance and voice acting. Her work in Nandaka Velonica remains her most significant and well-documented credit in the anime industry.
