Airi Sakuno is a Japanese voice actress born on November 4, 1984, in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. She began her career in the entertainment industry in 2005 and was initially affiliated with Doa Production until March 2007, after which she joined the talent agency Production Baobab in May of the same year. Throughout her career, she has been active in anime, video games, and audio productions, and has also participated in voice actor units.

Sakuno's voice work spans a range of anime series, often in supporting or recurring roles. She is known for voicing Chinatsu Sayama, Masayo Ando, and Sully in the series Yumeiro Pâtissière and its sequel Yumeiro Pâtissière SP Professional. In the series Kuromajyo-san ga Tōru!!, she plays the role of Blossom Tōka. Her other anime credits include numerous background and side characters in productions such as Clannad After Story, Doraemon, Higepiyo, Kobato., and Skip Beat!. She has also lent her voice to theatrical films like Crayon Shin-chan: The Storm Called: The Hero of Kinpoko and Hells Angels.

Beyond anime, Sakuno has an extensive portfolio in video games. She voiced Clarissa Arwin in Wild Arms XF, Inochi Fujimaru in Kisaragi GOLD★STAR -NONSTOP GO GO!!-, and Mizuho Hananomiya in Tsuki ni Yorisou Otome no Sahou. She also voiced Yumi Hijikata in the visual novel Nanairo Reincarnation.

Throughout her career, Sakuno has engaged in recurring collaborations, particularly through voice acting units. She was a member of the unit Layla alongside Ayana Sasagawa and Keiichi Takahashi until its disbandment in 2009. In 2010, she formed a new unit called Etoile with fellow voice actress Misato. In addition to her acting roles, her work includes narrations for radio and television commercials, including campaigns for companies like Tomy and Yodobashi Camera. Sakuno is also known for her versatility in speaking the Kansai dialect and has creative hobbies that include design and illustration.
