Renato Hermeto
Description
Renato Hermeto is a Brazilian voice actor, dubbing director, and localization director based in São Paulo. Originally from Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais, he relocated to São Paulo in the mid-2010s. In addition to his work as a performer, he holds the position of game localization director at Maximal Studios.
Hermeto has provided voices for a range of characters in the Brazilian Portuguese dubs of various anime. In the 2012 film Wolf Children, he voiced the role of Souhei Fujii, a classmate of the main character Yuki. His other notable anime roles include Akito Miyake in the series Classroom of the Elite and Funkfreed in the long-running series One Piece. He also voiced a character identified as Yamazaki in the film From Up on Poppy Hill. Beyond these credited roles, he has contributed additional voices to several other anime series and films, including Dance Dance Danseur, Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove it, Yo-kai Watch, and the HBO version of the film Mai Mai Miracle.
His voice work extends to western animation and live-action series as well. He is known for voicing the character Oliver in the children's series Thomas and Friends from its eighteenth season onward. He has also performed additional voices for the series Mad Men and Power.
