Maja Van Honsté is a Belgian actress and voice artist known for her extensive work in musical theater, television, and dubbing for international films and series. She was born in Kapellen, Belgium, and developed an interest in performing arts from a young age. Her formal training includes secondary education at the Stedelijk Instituut voor Sierkunsten en Ambachten in Antwerp, followed by a seventh year specializing in musical at the Kunsthumaniora. She subsequently studied Musical Theatre at the Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg, the Netherlands.

Van Honsté began her professional career on stage in 2004 and has since built an extensive career in Flemish theater and musical productions. She has been involved in numerous large-scale musicals with prominent companies like Studio 100 and Deep Bridge. Her stage credits include ensemble and principal roles in productions such as 40-45, Daens, Mamma Mia, The Sound of Music, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Red Star Line. This strong foundation in musical theater has been integral to her voice acting career.

As a voice actress, Van Honsté has lent her voice to a wide array of characters in Dutch-dubbed versions of major animated and live-action films and series for platforms like Netflix, Disney Channel, and Nickelodeon. Her voice acting work spans numerous productions, with credits including the role of Candy in the Netflix series Glitter Force. She has also voiced princess Jasmine in the 2019 live-action film Aladdin, Voyd in Incredibles 2, Giggle McDimples in Toy Story 4, and Fru Fru in both Zootropolis and its series Zootopia+. Other notable roles include Bea in Fish Hooks, the title character in Mia and Me, Naomi in Elena of Avalor, and Kiff in Kiff. In addition to character dubbing, she has narrated the audiobook Ongefilterd moederschap by Lorentia Veppi. Her frequent work for major studios like Disney and Studio 100 demonstrates recurring collaborations within the Flemish dubbing and entertainment industry.
