Joe Takeduki, also known as Taketsuki Jō, is a Japanese novelist from Saitama Prefecture who has been active as a creator since 2008. He is best known as the original author of the light novel series Campione!, which served as the source material for a television anime adaptation of the same name. The Campione! light novel series was published from May 2008 to November 2017 and achieved commercial success, winning first place in the light novel category at the eBook Awards 2013 and first place in the light novel category at the BookLive! eBook Annual Ranking 2012. Following the conclusion of Campione!, Takeduki wrote a sequel series titled Campioness of Sanctuary, which ran from December 2017 to July 2019.

Beyond the Campione! franchise, Takeduki has created several other light novel series. These include Leviathan of the Covenant, published from November 2012 to December 2016, and Chronicle Legion, published from November 2014 to July 2017. His ongoing work is Fantasy Inbound, a light novel series that began publication in June 2020. The first volume of Fantasy Inbound, which features illustrations by the artist Shirabii, was published by KADOKAWA and centers on a narrative where modern society is invaded by an otherworldly civilization through mysterious portals.

In addition to his writing, Takeduki has served as a member of the selection committee for literary awards, including the Super Dash Novel Newcomer Award and the subsequent Shueisha Light Novel Newcomer Award.
