Ryuto is a Japanese writer best known as the original creator of the light novel and manga series Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship! and Survival in Another World with My Mistress!. Ryuto is identified as a Japanese author whose other known work includes the series The 29-year-old Bachelor Lived Freely in a Different World.

For the series Reborn as a Space Mercenary, Ryuto is the author of the original light novels, which were later adapted into a manga. The English version of the light novel is published by Airship, an imprint of Seven Seas Entertainment, and the manga adaptation is illustrated by Shunichi Matsui. The story follows Satou Takahiro, an ordinary office worker and hobbyist gamer who wakes up aboard a spaceship modeled after one from his favorite video game, and uses his knowledge and a powerful starship to become a mercenary in a new universe. The light novel illustrations are provided by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima, who also works on the manga adaptation of the series.

Ryuto is also the author of the light novel series Survival in Another World with My Mistress!, which began serialization on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in August 2018. A manga adaptation of this series, illustrated by SASAYUKi, began serialization in Micro Magazine's Comic Ride online magazine in March 2020. The English version of both the light novel and manga is published by Seven Seas Entertainment. The plot centers on Kousuke Shibata, a video gamer who is transported to a fantasy world with crafting and inventory abilities similar to a game like Minecraft, who is then enslaved by a dark elf princess named Sylphyel to use his powers for her village.
