Mariko Toribe is a Japanese voice actor from Niigata Prefecture, born on July 31, 1990. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Studies at Sophia University, where she majored in German Studies. In 2012, during her time at university, she won the grand prix at the Miss Sophia contest. She is affiliated with the agency IAM Agency, and was formerly affiliated with DAX Production.

Toribe made her debut as a voice actor in 2013, landing her first roles in the television anime series The Diary of Yuni and Chika and Photokano. In the early years of her career, she continued to secure supporting roles in series such as Jinsei and The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior in 2014, and Castle Town Dandelion in 2015, where she voiced the character Reiko Sayomae.

Her first major leading role came with the character Ayaka Sakaki in the mixed-media franchise Pastel Memories. Toribe voiced Sakaki, a second-year high school student and skilled cosplayer, in the 2017 mobile game and later reprised the role for its 2019 television anime adaptation. This role stands as one of her most prominent performances to date.

Beyond Pastel Memories, Toribe has built a diverse portfolio of voice work across anime, games, and foreign language dubs. Her anime credits from 2019 include roles in The Helpful Fox Senko-san, One Punch Man season 2, and After School Dice Club. In the 2022 anime adaptation of the game Girls' Frontline, she provided the voice for an automated announcement system. Her recent work in 2023 and 2024 includes roles in D4DJ All Mix, World Dai Star, and A Sign of Affection.

In addition to her on-screen roles, Toribe has contributed her voice to numerous video games. Her game credits include Idolism in 2014, Xuccess Heaven and Princess Maker in 2015, and the aforementioned Pastel Memories. She has also been active in dubbing foreign television series and films into Japanese, with credits including several Agatha Christie's Poirot specials. Her work extends to stage performances and participation in music projects, such as singing character songs for the VR idol project Hop Step Sing! in 2016.

Toribe holds a German language proficiency certification level 3 (ZD) and lists German and violin among her special skills. She has utilized her German language ability professionally, serving as the German language supervisor for the 2023 anime series World Dai Star.
