Fuh Araki

Description
Fuh Araki, also known by the Japanese name 荒木風羽, is a manga artist whose professional career includes both original serialized works and manga adaptations of popular light novel series. Araki's artistic identity is most prominently tied to the fantasy genre, having served as the illustrator for the manga version of The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom, a series originally created by author Hifumi. This work, which follows the adventures of an eternally youthful sorcerer named Asley and his canine companion Pochi, has been published in English by J-Novel Club and received an anime television adaptation, with Araki credited as the original manga creator.

Beyond this notable title, Araki's bibliography demonstrates a versatility that spans comedy, slice-of-life, and action-driven narratives. Araki provided the artwork for the manga adaptation of Hazure Skill: The Guild Member with a Worthless Skill Is Actually a Legendary Assassin, based on the light novel series by Kennoji, which has been released in English by Little, Brown and Company. Another significant fantasy adaptation credited to Araki is Yuukyuu no Gusha Asley no, Kenja no Susume, which is an alternative presentation of the same core narrative as The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom.

In addition to adaptation work, Araki has created several original manga series. These include Soshite Bokura wa Kazoku ni Naru (And So We Became a Family), a series published by芳文社 (Houbunsha), and Suki! Kirai! (Like! Hate!). Araki has also contributed to numerous anthology comics for established franchises, including works based on K-On!, Hidamari Sketch, and Yume Nikki. This body of work, particularly the numerous contributions to Houbunsha anthologies, suggests an early career focused on the four-panel comic strip format common to slice-of-life and comedic manga. Through a combination of original creations and high-profile adaptations, Fuh Araki has established a presence in the contemporary manga industry, bridging the gap between light novel narratives and visual storytelling for a global audience.
