Riku Nanano is the Japanese author and creator of the light novel series Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter, known in Japanese as Kōjo Denka no Kateikyōshi. Nanano is also credited as the original creator behind the manga adaptation of the same name.

The creator began writing the story as a web novel on the Kakuyomu website on October 6, 2017. The series was later acquired for print publication by Fujimi Shobo, which began releasing it as a light novel under its Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint on December 20, 2018. The print edition features illustrations by the artist Cura. As of January 2025, the light novel series has released 18 volumes in Japan, with the story still ongoing.

A manga adaptation of Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter, illustrated by Tamura Mutō, began serialization on Kadokawa Shoten's Shōnen Ace Plus website on September 13, 2019. As of February 2024, the manga has been collected into four tankōbon volumes. An anime television series adaptation has been produced by Studio Blanc, directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama, and is scheduled to premiere in July 2025. The series has been licensed for English publication by J-Novel Club, which has released both the light novels and the manga adaptation for audiences outside Japan.
