Renge Hatsueda is the original creator behind the light novel and manga series Isekai de Kojiin o Hiraita Kedo, Naze ka Darehitori Sudatou to Shinai Ken. This work began as a web novel serialized on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform in 2016. The series was later acquired by TO Books, which began publishing print light novel volumes in August 2017 with illustrations by Pulp Piroshi. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Tomosane Ariike, started serialization in Comic Gamma Plus in June 2018. The story follows Masatsugu Naomi, a high school student summoned to another world and assigned to manage an orphanage, where his seemingly basic skills prove unexpectedly powerful.

Hatsueda is also the author of another light novel series, I'm Glad They Kicked Me From The Hero's Party... But Why're you following me, Great Saintess?. This series was published by Square Enix and features illustrations by Kaito Shibano. A manga adaptation of this work, illustrated by Pinko Kurimoto, is also available. The story centers on Mihama Ariake, who is expelled from a hero's party but possesses the unlimited use of all skills bestowed by a deity.
