Hinagi Asami is the credited author of the light novel and manga series The Otherworlder, Exploring the Dungeon, which is the English version of the work originally known as Ihōjin, Dungeon ni Moguru. The series began as a Japanese light novel published by Dragon Novels, with the first volume released on February 5, 2019. The English translation of the light novel was later published by Yen On, starting with Volume 1 on November 30, 2021. Hinagi Asami is also the credited creator of the manga adaptation, with the first volume released in English by Yen Press on March 21, 2023. The story follows a protagonist named Souya who accepts a financial offer to travel to a fantasy world and ascend a dangerous dungeon tower, encountering companions such as elf sisters and a god of deception. The light novel series includes at least three volumes, with the third published in November 2022. The manga adaptation includes at least two volumes, with the second published in June 2023. The visual art for the light novel editions is credited to illustrator Kureta.
