Iori Miyazawa is a Japanese author and creator, recognized as the original writer behind the science fiction, horror, and yuri series Otherside Picnic. Born in Akita Prefecture, Miyazawa made his literary debut in 2011 with the novel Boku no Maken, ga Urusai Ken ni Tsuite (Regarding My Troublesome Magic Sword). His career gained significant recognition in 2015 when he won the 6th Sogen SF Short Story Prize for his work Kamigami no Hohou (The Pace of the Gods), marking a notable entry into the science fiction genre.
