Kayoko Tsumita is a Japanese voice actress from Tokyo, born on June 8th. She began her career after training at the Production Ace演技研究所, the talent school affiliated with the agency Production Ace, where she was initially signed. She is now a freelance voice actress.
Tsumita made her debut as a voice actress in 2011, landing her first major role as Ran Musen in the television anime series R-15. This character, a genius programmer and leader of a yuri clique at a school for prodigies, is often cited as her debut and representative role. The same year, she also voiced the character in the related video game, R-15 Portable.
Following her debut, Tsumita continued to take on supporting roles in various anime series. In 2013, she voiced the character Ayesha Ig Fatuus in Problem Children Are from Another World, Aren't They? and appeared in both the television anime and an OVA for the series. That same year, she began her most sustained collaboration, joining the cast of the Date A Live franchise. She provided the voice for Mai Hazakura, a recurring supporting character and classmate of the protagonist, a role she has reprised multiple times. Her work in the franchise includes the second and third seasons of the television anime, the 2015 theatrical film Date A Live: Mayuri Judgement, and several video game adaptations such as Date A Live: Ars Install and Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation. In 2014, she voiced Lala Lulu in the television anime Love Stage!!.
Beyond her on-screen roles, Tsumita was also a member of the voice actor unit Anisoni∀. She joined the group in June 2012, alongside fellow voice actresses Tomi Takao, Rena Uesaka, and Chieri Hayashida, as part of their activities.
