Hideki Yamada

Hideki Yamada is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator recognized as the original creator behind the manga and anime series Manyū Hiken-chō. His name in Japanese is written as 山田秀樹.
Yamada began his career as an illustrator in 2002. He has also worked under the pseudonym Konchiki, under which he published adult manga. In addition to his manga work, he has served as an illustrator for light novels.
His most prominent work is Manyū Hiken-chō, a manga series that he wrote and illustrated. The series began monthly serialization in Enterbrain’s seinen manga magazine Tech Gian in 2005. The first compiled tankōbon volume was released on March 24, 2007, and the series concluded with the seventh volume, which was published on January 25, 2012.
A 12-episode anime television adaptation of Manyū Hiken-chō was produced by Hoods Entertainment. It aired in Japan from July to September 2011. The anime featured direction by Hiraku Kaneko and scripts by Seishi Minakami. Yamada is credited as the original creator of the work upon which the anime is based.
Beyond Manyū Hiken-chō, Yamada has continued to create manga, with later works including Oritatabu and Kunoichi Momoka Tabegoro desu?.
