Yamila Garreta is an Argentine voice actor, dubbing director, and teacher, recognized for her work in the Spanish dubbing industry for Latin America. Born on September 29, 1974, she is a graduate of the ISER (Instituto Superior de Enseñanza Radiofónica), having earned her degree as a locutora (broadcast announcer) in 1999, and began her career as a dubbing actor in 2001. Her professional experience extends to directing dubbing projects, a role she has held for studios such as Non Stop and MasterDubbing since 2011, and later for Mediapro-Com, working on content for Disney Channel and Disney XD.

In the realm of anime and animation, Garreta has voiced a variety of characters for Argentine dubs. Her notable roles include Isao Tendō in the film Legend of the Millennium Dragon and Pepper Potts in the animated feature Iron Man: Rise of Technovore. Her other anime credits include the character Boh in the Argentine dub of the Studio Ghibli film Spirited Away, Kimura's Girlfriend in Tekkonkinkreet, as well as roles in series such as Blade, Wolverine (as Mariko Yashida), X-Men (as Emma Frost), and Ghost Stories. Beyond anime, her extensive filmography encompasses dubbing for live-action films and series, where she frequently lends her voice to actresses such as Rachel McAdams, Amy Adams, Krysten Ritter, and Jessica Alba in various productions.

Apart from her performance work, Garreta is an active educator in her field. She has taught locución at the ETER school since 2015 and has been a teacher in the Dubbing Specialization at ISER since 2014. She is also part of the faculty at the Escuela Argentina de Doblaje and has led personalized dubbing workshops since 2011. Her voice is also recognized as the official voice for the children's channels Paka-Paka and Canal Encuentro.
