Ginpei Sato is a Japanese voice actor and actor born on October 19, 1977, in Tokyo, Japan. He began his career in the entertainment industry after withdrawing from Gakushuin University and founding a theatre troupe named Suspendds. His father is the actor Sato Bunsaku. Sato has been active in voice acting since approximately 2004, contributing to a range of anime series and video games.
He is widely recognized for two prominent roles from the mid-2000s. He provided the voice of the ronin Jin in the acclaimed 2004 anime television series Samurai Champloo. He also voiced Saïx, a key member of Organization XIII, in the popular Kingdom Hearts video game franchise, beginning with Kingdom Hearts II and reprising the role in subsequent titles such as Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts III.
In addition to these signature roles, Sato's voice acting portfolio includes a variety of other characters. He voiced the character Shun in the 2006 original net animation Be Rockin'.
