Gorō Aizome

Description
Gorō Aizome is a Japanese manga creator recognized for writing and illustrating adult-oriented romantic comedy and sports manga. Aizome is best known for drawing larger-than-life athletic women and kinky comedy manga for adults, with the series Do You Like Big Girls? serving as the primary example of this work.

Aizome is the original creator of the manga Do You Like Big Girls?, which began serialization on January 8, 2014, in Takeshobo's Monthly Kissca magazine. The series falls within the seinen demographic and continued in Monthly Kissca until the magazine ceased publication on January 8, 2022. Following this, the manga moved to the Web Comic Gamma Plus website on February 18, 2022, where it ran until November 4, 2022. The series later moved again to the Takecomic platform, where it has been serialized since December 19, 2025. The English language version of the manga is published by Seven Seas Entertainment under its Ghost Ship imprint for mature readers.

The narrative of Do You Like Big Girls? follows a protagonist named Sota, a short young man who becomes the hall director and acting coach for a women's university volleyball team due to his sister's scheming. The story focuses on his interactions with the taller female athletes and his efforts to navigate life in an all-girls dormitory. An anime adaptation of Do You Like Big Girls? is scheduled for release in April 2026.

Recurring elements in Aizome's work include a focus on athletic female characters with larger-than-life physiques, comedic situations with mature themes, and premises involving a male protagonist in intimate proximity with a group of women. Aizome's artistic identity is strongly tied to this specific genre of adult comedy manga centered on sports and body image themes. The creator's body of work, as documented in retail and manga database entries, appears to center primarily on this single long-running series rather than multiple distinct titles.
