Matsuri Isora is a Japanese author and original creator, best known for the light novel and manga series Secrets of the Silent Witch, also known as Silent Witch. Isora made their debut as a writer with the first volume of the Silent Witch light novel, which was published in August 2022. The series follows Monica Everett, a mage known as the Silent Witch for her ability to perform unchanted magecraft, who must overcome extreme shyness to carry out a mission protecting a prince. The story has been adapted into a manga illustrated by Tobi Tana, which began serialization in July 2021. The English versions of both the light novels and the manga are published by Yen Press. Matsuri Isora has continued to expand the Silent Witch universe, writing multiple volumes of the main series, a side-story collection titled Secrets of the Silent Witch, Vol. 4.5 -after-, and a spin-off prequel series called Secrets of the Silent Witch -another- which focuses on the backstory of a supporting character. Isora is credited as the original creator for all these related works.
