Shinya Murata is a Japanese manga writer and original creator known for his work on a number of action-oriented series, most notably "Killing Bites." Born on May 25, 1983, and hailing from Saitama City in Saitama Prefecture, Murata began his professional career in the early 2000s. His first serialized work was "Jackals," which launched in 2005 and was illustrated by Kim Byung-jin. Rather than drawing the art himself, Murata almost exclusively serves as the scenario writer or original creator, collaborating with various artists to bring his stories to life.
