Akira Kareno is a Japanese novelist and game scenario writer known for his work as an original creator in the light novel, anime, and manga industries. He made his debut in 2002 by writing the novelization of the computer game Wind -a breath of heart-. His first original novel, Tekuteku to Boku, was published in 2004. Over the years, Kareno has built a career that spans original light novel series, manga source material, and extensive work on game scenarios, including contributions to the Summon Night series as a scenario writer and scenario assistant.
