His career encompasses a wide range of voice work in anime, live-action series, movie comics, video games, and dubbing for foreign films and documentaries.

Takagi's voice acting career began in 2012, with early roles in anime series such as Sankarea: Undying Love and Inu × Boku SS. He has built a diverse filmography by taking on a variety of supporting and minor roles across numerous popular series.
