Tamao Akae

Tamao Akae is a Japanese freelance announcer, radio personality, and television presenter who was born on January 9, 1975. While her primary career is in broadcasting, she has also performed voice acting roles in anime, particularly in the Pretty Cure franchise. Notably, she voiced the character Heart in the 2005 film Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart. She also provided the voice for Ayumi's mother in the 2012 film Precure All Stars New Stage: Mirai no Tomodachi.

Akae began her career as an announcer for Asahi Broadcasting Corporation in 1997 after graduating from Kobe College. She remained with the company until March 2007, when she became a freelancer. Her voice acting work is a minor facet of her career, which is otherwise dominated by her work as a television and radio personality on numerous programs.
