Kenichi Kaneda is a Japanese voice actor who began his career in the late 1960s and became prominent during the formative years of television anime. He is widely recognized for his leading role as Joe Shimamura, the protagonist Cyborg 009, in the 1979 anime series adaptation of Shotaro Ishinomori's manga. Another notable early performance was voicing the titular character Musashi Miyamoto in the historical anime series Shōnen Miyamoto Musashi - Wanpaku Nitō-ryū, which aired in 1971. Throughout his career, Kaneda frequently collaborated with Toei Animation, contributing to various classic productions during the 1970s and 1980s.
