Misato Tanaka is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on February 9, 1977, in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency ample. While her career has prominently featured live-action roles in television dramas and films, she has also contributed her voice to a select number of animated projects and dubbed works.

As a voice actress, Tanaka is known for providing the Japanese-language voice for lead characters in foreign productions. A significant example of this is her role as the voice of Yoo-jin, the character originally played by Choi Ji-woo in the popular Korean drama Winter Sonata. She voiced the character for the Japanese broadcast of the series and also participated in promotional events for a 4K remastered theatrical film version released in Japan in March 2026 to mark the 20th anniversary of the drama's broadcast in the country. Similarly, she voiced the female lead in the Japanese-dubbed version of the Korean drama Stairway to Heaven.

In the realm of anime, Tanaka's work includes a leading role in the television special Otona Joshi no Anime Time. She voiced Noriko, the protagonist of the first installment in the series, titled Kawamo o Suberu Kaze (A Wind Skimming the River's Surface), which premiered in January 2011. Her other anime voice acting credits include the role of the narrator in the 2008 animated television special Lupin III: Sweet Lost Night.
