Hironobu Nomura

Description
Hironobu Nomura is a Japanese actor and singer who was born on May 3, 1965, in Tokyo, Japan. He began his entertainment career in the mid-1980s, quickly gaining recognition for his work in live-action television and film. In 1984, he received the Japan Academy Prize for Best Newcomer for his performance in the film My Summer Travels. His career progressed steadily, and he became widely known to the Japanese public for his leading role in the 1988 television drama series Teacher Wacky.

While primarily known as a live-action actor, Nomura's involvement in anime and voice acting is limited. His most notable and frequently cited voice role is in the 1985 animated film Bobby's Girl. In this film, he provided the voice for the main character, Akihiko Nomura, who is also known as Bobby. His contribution to the project extended beyond voice acting, as he also performed the film's theme song, Bobby ni Rock'n Roll. Aside from this film, his filmography of over one hundred credits is composed almost entirely of live-action roles in television dramas, films, and stage productions. He has appeared in numerous popular television series, including the taiga dramas Dokuganryu Masamune and Genroku Ryoran, as well as the drama series News no Onna. His later acting credits include roles in the Kamen Rider Ex-Aid live-action television series and the 2020 film Mio's Cookbook. The body of his work is defined by recurring collaborations with directors and actors in the live-action industry, such as his multiple projects with actor Toshihiko Tahara in the late 1980s.
