Vanessa Branch is an actress and voice artist known for her work in film, television, and video games. She was born in London, England, on March 21, 1973, and holds dual British and American citizenship. She graduated from Middlebury College in 1994 and was named Miss Vermont the same year, going on to compete in the Miss America 1995 pageant. Branch is multilingual, speaking English, French, and Mandarin.

While Branch is widely recognized for her on-camera work, particularly her recurring role as Giselle in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, she has also built a portfolio of voice acting credits. A notable example of her voice work is the role of Beatrice in the 2010 animated film Dante's Inferno: An Animated Epic. In this adaptation of the classic story, which is tied to the video game of the same name, she voices Beatrice, the beloved of the protagonist Dante, who must journey through Hell to rescue her.
