Peter Jessop is an American actor with an extensive career in voice-over work, particularly recognized for his contributions to animated series, films, and video games. He was born in Natick, Massachusetts.

His voice acting in animation spans several prominent franchises. He provided the voice for Virgil in the 2010 direct-to-video animated film Dante's Inferno: An Animated Epic. In the DC animated universe, his roles include Salaak in Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, Nuidis Vulko in Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, Superman in JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time, the Watch Commander in Batman: Assault on Arkham, Tharok in Justice League vs. the Fatal Five, and Steppenwolf in an episode of Justice League Action. He also voiced the Vision in six episodes of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Additional television voice work includes the character Fung in two episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender and the Curator in an episode of The Batman.

Beyond animation, Jessop is a prolific voice actor in the video game industry, where he has portrayed numerous iconic characters. He voiced the primary antagonist Miraak in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn DLC and Paladin Danse in Fallout 4. He is also known for his work as Sovereign in Mass Effect, Albert Wesker in the 2002 remake of Resident Evil, B.J. Blazkowicz in the 2009 Wolfenstein game, and Soundwave in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Other notable video game credits include roles in the Destiny franchise as the male Exo player character, Al Capone in Empire of Sin, Bucket in Evolve, and numerous characters in Dragon Age: Origins.

In addition to his voice work, Jessop has appeared in live-action television, including a recurring role as Commander Shaw in four episodes of the series SEAL Team.
