Adrienne Barbeau is an American actress and author whose career in film, television, and voice acting spans several decades. She is predominantly known for her extensive work in live-action, particularly her iconic roles in horror films and as a scream queen. In the 1987 animated science fiction film Ultraman: The Adventure Begins, a joint American-Japanese production by Hanna-Barbera and Tsuburaya Productions, Barbeau provided the English voice for the character Lieutenant Beth O'Brien. Beth O'Brien is the cool-headed female member of a stunt pilot trio who become hosts to the Ultra warriors; she transforms into the superheroine Ultrawoman Beth. Barbeau's broader voice acting career includes American animation, where she is widely recognized for voicing Catwoman / Selina Kyle in the DC Animated Universe series Batman: The Animated Series and its follow-ups, as well as for roles in various video games.
