Stacy Keach Sr. was an American actor whose career in film and television spanned six decades, beginning in the 1940s. Born on May 29, 1914, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the father of actors Stacy Keach Jr. and James Keach. He passed away on February 13, 2003.

While primarily known for his extensive work as a character actor in live-action productions, Keach Sr. also contributed his voice to several animated series and films, particularly during the 1980s. His work in animation includes providing additional voices for the series The Pirates of Dark Water, Yogi's Treasure Hunt, and Thundarr the Barbarian. He voiced Grandpa Howard in the Teen Wolf animated series and took on roles in Beauty and the Beast, which involved voicing the Merchant, a Sailor, and a Male Voice.

His most notable voice role in an anime production was in the 1987 animated co-production Ultraman: The Adventure Begins, where he voiced the character Walter Freeman. This television film was a collaboration between Hanna-Barbera and Tsuburaya Productions, bringing the Ultraman franchise to an American audience through animation.

Beyond his voice work, Keach Sr. built a substantial career as a live-action performer. His filmography includes appearances in notable films such as Pretty Woman, The Parallax View, and The FBI Story. He was also a familiar face on television, with guest roles in numerous classic series of the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, including Get Smart, Adam-12, Maverick, Perry Mason, The Rockford Files, and Dallas. Throughout his career, he worked frequently with actors Whit Bissell and Claude Akins.
