Yuka Maruyama is a Japanese voice actress from Asakusa, Tokyo, born on October 3. She is affiliated with the talent agency Ken Production. Maruyama graduated from the voice acting department of the Amusement Media Academy in 2010 and is a 12th generation graduate of the School Duo training program.
Her career encompasses a wide range of roles in anime, video games, and dubbed foreign productions. In anime, she is known for her versatility, often voicing characters ranging from young boys to elderly women. Some of her notable anime roles include Ren Tachibana in Free!, Makoto Sasaki in Beyblade Burst, and Rintaro Hoshi in Haikyu!!. In the series High School Fleet, she voices Ritsuko Matsunaga, also known as Ricchan. She plays the role of Arisa Hara in the 2019 television anime adaptation of Circlet Princess. For a younger audience, she voices the ambulance character Kyū-chan in the children's anime Norimono Man Mobile Land no Car-kun. She is also credited with the role of Dragonfly in the Duel Masters! franchise.
Beyond anime, Maruyama has lent her voice to numerous major video game franchises, including Final Fantasy XV, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Granblue Fantasy, and The Last of Us Part II. She is also well-established as the regular Japanese dubbing voice for American actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter.
In addition to her voice work, Maruyama is a creative artist and illustrator. She is the original creator of the project Aishota idol show time, which was adapted into a manga serialized by Shogakukan.
