Runa Onodera is a Japanese voice actress from Tokyo, born on January 9th. Her year of birth has not been publicly disclosed. She was inspired to pursue a career in voice acting by her childhood admiration for the anime series Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. To achieve her goal, she trained at the Japan Narration Acting Institute.
Onodera made her professional debut in 2016 with a primary role in the anime short Omoi no Kakera, where she voiced the character Anzu, known in some sources as Kyoko. That same year, she began voicing Shizuka Gozen in the long-running television anime Neko Neko Nihonshi, a role she would reprise over multiple seasons. Her early career also included small roles in popular series such as Love Live! Sunshine!! and Battle Spirits: Double Drive.
