Description
The creator known as emily is a manga artist and illustrator whose published works span general-audience four-panel comics, seinen manga, and adult-oriented material. Emily was born in South Korea and received an honorable mention in the 49th Popuri Award. The artist also operates under the doujin circle name Alice16.

Emily is best known as the author and illustrator of the four-panel manga series Pan de Peace!, also known as Peace Through Bread! and Bread Brings Peace. The series was serialized by KADOKAWA, beginning in the October 2014 issue of Monthly Comic Alive within its Comic Cune section. When Comic Cune became an independent magazine in August 2015, Pan de Peace! continued serialization there until concluding in November 2017. The complete series was collected into five tankobon volumes, released between August 2015 and December 2017. The manga is licensed in Chinese by Eastern Publishing.

An anime television adaptation of Pan de Peace! was produced by Asahi Production and aired from April to June 2016. The series consisted of 13 short episodes, each approximately three minutes long. The adaptation was directed by Hatsuki Tsuji, with scripts by Momoko Murakami and character designs by Shizue Kaneko. The story follows four high school girls who bond over their shared love of bread in a lighthearted, slice-of-life setting.

Beyond Pan de Peace!, emily has created other general-audience manga series published under KADOKAWA's Comic Cune label. The series Love Prohibited Academy was released in two volumes between November 2018 and August 2019. Another work, Pon Pon Pon!, was completed in a single volume published in September 2020.
