Ross Douglas

Ross Douglas was a Canadian voice actor and musician, closely associated with Ocean Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia, for much of his career. He was active in the industry for several decades, contributing his voice to a wide range of animated series and video games. Douglas passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 72.

His body of work is notable for its presence in English dubs of popular anime series. One of his credited roles is that of Daniel O'Connell in the series Master Keaton. He also provided voices for several characters in the anime adaptations of Inuyasha, including Goryomaru and Moryomaru. Other significant anime credits include Kageyama in Black Lagoon, the Narrator in the original Mobile Suit Gundam, Torchman in MegaMan NT Warrior, and Keith Blue in Project ARMS. His work extended to other animated television as well, such as the role of Skeets in the series Smallville and Shin Sai in The Story of Saiunkoku.

In addition to his television work, Douglas was a familiar voice in video games. He is perhaps best known to gaming audiences for his role as the villain Jean Bison in the game Sly 2: Band of Thieves, part of the popular Sly Cooper series. His other game credits include reprising the role of the Narrator and voicing Bask Om in Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space, as well as roles in Nancy Drew: The Creature of Kapu Cave and The Suffering.
