Shōhei Hashimoto is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on December 31, 1993, in Kanagawa Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency Cast Corporation. His career began in 2013 with performances in musicals and stage plays, a path he chose after being profoundly impressed by a stage production of the musical Hakuoki. He is a graduate of the Tokyo Announcement College, where he studied performing arts.

Hashimoto's voice acting career started in 2019 when he landed his first anime role as Yurio Mizukami in the television anime series Dimension High School. That same year, he voiced Ivan Alexandrovich Romanov in the The Royal Tutor film, Gekijōban Okyu no Teinei.

A significant and recurring role in his career is Banri Shiroishi, the drummer for the band Argonavis within the BanG Dream! multimedia project. He began voicing the character in 2018 for the project's related stage appearances and live concerts, and continued in the 2020 television anime Argonavis from BanG Dream!. He has since reprised the role in the franchise's subsequent films, including Gekijōban Argonavis: Ryusei no Obligato in 2021 and Gekijō-ban Argonavis Axia in 2023. His involvement with Argonavis also includes playing drums for the real-life band, performing at concerts and events, an integral part of the mixed-media project.

Beyond these roles, Hashimoto is known for his extensive work in stage adaptations of popular anime and manga, known as 2.5-dimensional musicals. He has portrayed a wide range of characters, including Nishitani Yū from the Haikyu!! stage plays and Akutagawa Ryūnosuke in the Bungo Stray Dogs stage adaptations. In 2023, he co-founded a theatrical unit called GenShiki with fellow actor Mizuki Umezu to further explore new artistic expressions in theater.
