Touya

Description
Touya is the original creator of the Japanese light novel series A Tale of the Secret Saint. The author began by serializing their story on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō on January 6, 2019. Following its online success, the series was acquired by Earth Star Entertainment, which began publishing it as a light novel with illustrations by chibi under their Earth Star Novel imprint on June 15, 2019. The work has since expanded into a franchise that includes manga adaptations and an upcoming anime television series.

The main A Tale of the Secret Saint light novel series, written solely by Touya, has been ongoing since 2019 and has released eleven volumes as of March 14, 2025. The series follows Fia, a young woman who aspires to be a knight but recalls her past life as the Great Saint, a powerful healer who was betrayed. She hides her abilities while navigating her new life. The light novel is published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. A manga adaptation of the main series, illustrated by Mahito Aobe, began serialization on Earth Star Entertainment's Comic Earth Star website on December 19, 2019, and has been compiled into twelve volumes.

Touya has also created a spin-off light novel series titled A Tale of the Secret Saint ZERO, which began publication on July 15, 2022, and has released five volumes as of December 18, 2024. This spin-off has also received its own manga adaptation, illustrated by Shiina, which began serialization on October 19, 2023. The existence of this spin-off series indicates Touya's active development of the story's universe beyond the initial premise.

An anime television series adaptation of A Tale of the Secret Saint has been announced and is scheduled to premiere in April 2026. The series will be produced by Felix Film. This adaptation marks a significant milestone in Touya's career as a creator, bringing their original story to a broader audience through animation.

Beyond A Tale of the Secret Saint, Touya is also credited as the original creator of The Villainess's Guide to (Not) Falling in Love. This additional work suggests that Touya has established a presence in the light novel and manga industry with multiple series, particularly within fantasy and isekai genres where reincarnation and hidden identities serve as central narrative devices.

Information regarding Touya's personal background, including their birth date, education, or other professional history prior to their debut as a light novel author, remains unavailable.
