Josh Grahams

Description
Joshua Graham is a Canadian voice actor known for his work in animated series and video games, with his career path including major studios such as DreamWorks, Netflix, Disney, and Nickelodeon. Originally from Ontario, his journey into voice acting was not a direct one. Before entering the entertainment industry, he focused on athletics, particularly basketball and baseball. A pivotal moment came with the early rise of YouTube, where he began creating comedic skits and characters, building a substantial online following. This experience provided a foundational proof of concept for his performance skills and directly influenced his decision to pursue acting professionally.

After stepping away from his online channel, Graham dedicated himself to formal training, including animation classes led by Elley Ray Hennessy, which eventually led to representation and professional opportunities. He has described voice acting as a challenging field to enter, often functioning as a close-knit community, but one where creativity can flow more freely as it is not solely predicated on appearance.

In the realm of animation, Graham voiced the character Sprout in the 2022 video game My Little Pony: A Maritime Bay Adventure, stepping into a role initially brought to life by Ken Jeong. He is also recognized for his role as Calloway Storm in the anime series Bakugan: Armored Alliance. For this character, a Ventus brawler and phantom thief, Graham notably based his vocal performance on the portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. His work across different studios and franchises demonstrates a versatility that he has cultivated from his early days of content creation to his current status as a working voice artist.
